Mornings had gotten easier since Anna discovered the simple convenience of overnight oats. She had no need for the half-empty can of the traditional kind now languishing in the cupboard.
But is the menacing silhouette of a wide-brimmed hat and a shadowy figure peering through the kitchen window an April Fools’ Day joke of some kind? It has to be.
