Two-Packs of Horror: An April Fools’ Meh-rathon

Josh’s pitch

The year is 1950. A family patriarch is humiliated when his prized turkey carving set was swapped out for a more ineffectual one in a misguided April Fools stunt, embarrassing him to his core over dinner.

This spring, revenge is a dish best served piping hot in… April Fools!

Sean’s pitch

High school. 1995. An April Fools’ prank gone wrong, leaving a student with a terrifying scar on his face. Luckily, he skipped town after graduation and hasn’t been back since.

At least, until today, 30 years after the incident. And now he’s back for revenge. And he’s exacting said revenge using a carving knife and fork set for reasons that will be made clear in a later draft of this pitch.

Sleep with one eye open this year on… April Fools!

We can all agree, April Fools’ Day is awful on the internet. So we decided, why not make April Fools’ Day more like Halloween? It’s simple. All day long, we’ve got two-packs of products and two pitches for April-Fools’-Day-themed horror movies based on said products. So stick around for great deals and, frankly, terrible movie ideas.

Meh-rathon

What’s a Meh-rathon?

Normally, Meh is all about one deal per day—simple. But sometimes, we throw that out the window. A Meh-rathon is an all-day gauntlet of nonstop deals. One after another, untill we run out of stuff (or patience). It's chaotic. It's fun. It's a terrible way to shop responsibly. You've been warned.
