2-Pack: Altec Lansing Mini Life Jacket 3 Bluetooth Speaker (Refurbished)
Two-Packs of Horror: An April Fools’ Meh-rathon
Josh’s pitch
Okay, personal story from Josh time.
I bought an off-brand Bluetooth speaker from Meh years ago, and when I was setting it up, it became immediately obvious that instead of the usual electronic beeps and tones, it was literally a recording of somebody going “DING!” and “BOOP!” when it connected and paired.
It remains one of the funniest things I’ve ever encountered.
Anyway, I hope somebody here has one and can remind me of the brand because I lost it a long time ago and would love another one.
Oh, and it could easily be someone’s soul trapped inside the thing or whatever. So we’ll flesh out the premise more in… April Fools!
Sean’s pitch
It’s the famous April Fools’ Day party at Death Lake.
But remember, while everyone can hear you laugh above the water, once the creature pulls you under, no one will hear you scream.
Unless you’ve got your phone.
And it’s waterproof.
And connected via Bluetooth to a floating Altec Lansing speaker.
And you’re screaming right into the mic.
And recording a voice memo.
And playing it back.
But otherwise, no one will hear you in… April Fools!
We can all agree, April Fools’ Day is awful on the internet. So we decided, why not make April Fools’ Day more like Halloween? It’s simple. All day long, we’ve got two-packs of products and two pitches for April-Fools’-Day-themed horror movies based on said products. So stick around for great deals and, frankly, terrible movie ideas.
Meh-rathon
What’s a Meh-rathon?
Normally, Meh is all about one deal per day—simple. But sometimes, we throw that out the window. A Meh-rathon is an all-day gauntlet of nonstop deals. One after another, untill we run out of stuff (or patience). It's chaotic. It's fun. It's a terrible way to shop responsibly. You've been warned.
