Two-Packs of Horror: An April Fools’ Meh-rathon
Josh’s Pitch
[Warning: Actual story from Josh’s college days.]
Jordan was exhausted by the antics of his roommates, especially when they considered splicing an electrical cord onto a fork and plugging it in to be “a prank” somehow. The humor? Knocking out the power to the entire apartment. The horror? Jordan’s reaction after losing his term paper in the days before autosave.
The resolution? Find out this spring in April Fools!
Disclaimer: Do use a braided surge protector. Don’t plug forks into outlets.
Sean’s Pitch
Tina bought braided surge protectors to protect herself on April Fools’ Day. After all, her nerdy friends at school were always playing pranks that involved giant power surges messing up each others’ devices.
Little did she know one of her friends, Herman, had something else in mind. He’d invented a slime creature called ‘The Slurge’ in the high school bio lab to carry out his bidding in pursuit of pranking dominance.
Only, it’s not listening to him in… April Fools!
We can all agree, April Fools’ Day is awful on the internet. So we decided, why not make April Fools’ Day more like Halloween? It’s simple. All day long, we’ve got two-packs of products and two pitches for April-Fools’-Day-themed horror movies based on said products. So stick around for great deals and, frankly, terrible movie ideas.
Meh-rathon
What’s a Meh-rathon?
Normally, Meh is all about one deal per day—simple. But sometimes, we throw that out the window. A Meh-rathon is an all-day gauntlet of nonstop deals. One after another, untill we run out of stuff (or patience). It's chaotic. It's fun. It's a terrible way to shop responsibly. You've been warned.
