@Thumperchick Can you name the hoodie I have on in the above picture, from what you can see? Is this better? The pic is from Xmas 2013, when we just had the pull-overs and waiting on the zip hoodies. Oh yeah, and also waiting on the Freaker.
@chellemonkey even better: I have a Nest Thermostat so while the warm weather setting stays 68° for the whole warm season... the cold season settings are 64° while we're awake...but 58° when everyone's asleep...then it ramps back up before everyone gets up -back to 64° :-)
@lakridserne Yeah, yeah I realize some people don't check until later but this whole site is built around launching a new deal at 12am eastern every day. A significant portion of its community is "in the middle of the night" :-)
@lakridserne ugh, 6am feels like the middle of night to me. yet for our west coast that's 9pm. Arbitrary time is funny that way! Regardless, any time is cat cuddling time. God eftermiddag!
I just go upstairs in the rare event that I get cold. We own a three story townhouse and the thermostat is on the middle floor. In the winter, it typically stays set on 69. So, that means the bottom floor (in which they inexplicably only put two registers) the temperature is usually mid-to-low 60s. The middle floor is ~69. The top floor depends on whether you're in the front or back. Kids' bedrooms are in the back and their rooms are probably about 71. The Master Bedroom is always warmer. It gets crazy hot in there even on the days that it's only 12 outside. Our ceiling fan is never turned off. It's rare that I wear anything other than a tank top and shorts in the house and I just stay on the top floor as much as possible.
I walk into the computer room in the house. A PS4, 2 PS3's, Wii, Wii U, PS2, 1 computer with 6970 video card, and well insulated. I sometimes have to crack a window even in the middle of winter.
On chilly days, I am a veritable onion of clothing. Coincidentally, on chili days I smell like onions.
I'm with @TheCO2 on this: Sweaters < Hoodies I have no honest opinion on how a sleeved-up blanket would fare in this inequation, but I'm willing to find out, Meh.
I can't believe no one has said put on a robe. Like, a bathrobe that you don't use for bathing. I've got one for that and its more like a towel, but I have two super fluffy ones that I wear when Im cold. All the warmth of a blanket with mobility!
Here in Florida, when it gets chilly, I put on socks. If I'm still chilly, I'll put on long pants and a long sleeve shirt. If it is the depths of Winter -- a couple days out of the year -- then I'll resort to a blanket.
We'll I guess I will have to be the one to mention that the absolutely best way to warm up is cuddling with a glass of wine and your love in the hot tub. Let it be cold!
I usually go the blanket route if I'm sitting around but if I am cold and I plan on going to bed in the near future I just take a long hot shower otherwise I will shiver in my bed under 4 blankets for an hour. (I would have said bath but my tub is subpar)
I'm in Austin. It's virtually never chilly here. The only way things get chilly is if someone decides to set to thermostat to 60 degrees.
@on could swear I saw something about snow there tonight? No?
@borisparsley Shhhhhh. Other people don't need to know. Just lie to them and let them come....
@on you must be thinking of california ;)
@on fine fine just have it melted and back to 80° by two weeks from saturday please and thank you
turn on the oven and bake some goods "that get me baked in return, brah"
@carl669 i see what you did there
@MsELizardBeth
@carl669 CEO pot joke located
I change my socks first
tequila
A sweater? Oh hell no...
I put on a hoodie!
Yes, that's really my ugly face.
@TheCO2 I expected to see Posthumous Pale Ale.

@TheCO2 I just remembered that I never answered you. That blue hoodie looks like Think of the Children!
@Thumperchick That would be correct. It's the only design I have on both hoodie and t-shirt.
Thermostat locked in at 72 from October to May. That plus a whole house humidifier makes Minneapolis almost tolerable.
@borisparsley 64° Oct-Apr, 68° May-Sep
@borisparsley I think I would die....
@unixrab Much closer to my desired temps!

I suppose "cuddle" wasn't an option because this is a community of people who are shopping online in the middle of the night. Then again, cats.
@derpandabar 6 AM == "the middle of the night"?
@lakridserne Yeah, yeah I realize some people don't check until later but this whole site is built around launching a new deal at 12am eastern every day. A significant portion of its community is "in the middle of the night" :-)
@derpandabar I live in Denmark, so midnight in the US = 6 AM here
@lakridserne ugh, 6am feels like the middle of night to me. yet for our west coast that's 9pm. Arbitrary time is funny that way! Regardless, any time is cat cuddling time. God eftermiddag!
@derpandabar Haha yeah :P - usually I am there when the sale starts, but occassionally I will wait an hour or 2.
I reach for a Hipster Hobo draped in a pile of microfiber comforters. (last pic)
Pour a scotch.

I grab a wench and have my way with her.
Go outside then come back in. It's all relative, man.
Snuggle with my three organic heaters.

@kazriko Same here. The office is the hottest room in the house.
I revel in it. It so rarely gets cold here that you have to enjoy it on the one or two days per year that it does.

@SpeakerDoc I think I have a hoodie addiction. As for blankets with sleeves; I want to burn them all.
I man up. Also, I live in SE Georgia, so it's never really "cold" per se.

Gotta go with the blanket. Old house + polar vortex = boiler struggles to hit 60 some mornings.

I put on the free socks.
Turn on the space heater
We'll

Bourbon.

I usually get naked with the Mrs and create plenty of heat under the covers. Nudge ...Nudge...say no more
It will get warm next week(early 30s). That's the definition of "warm". Right? 30?
@JasonKim if we're talking centigrade that's getting warm in Texas but not quite Summer weather yet.
You're in a desert, walking along in the sand, when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise. It's crawling toward you...
@WTFhqwhgads What desert? Why am I there? I've never seen a turtle . . .
