@lichme @narfcake Thanks narf. Yeah, sold only 12 that day, but it was 3am, so, not bad? It’ll be on sale all week, but not competing with a ton of side sales, so not expecting much more out of it.

@PlacidPenguin Not a speed demon drive; you won’t be blown away by the performance. It IS compact, so very portable. I bought one a couple Woot-offs ago and use it for incremental backups of vital data.
For an always connected drive, I really prefer one with it’s own power source. This one draws power from the USB port, so I only connect it when needed. I have historically had positive experiences with Seagate products. I have a Seagate 500GB drive in a file server which has been running 24/7 for about 11 years now.
Other than that, it’s a hard drive, it’s 1TB, and it’s forty bucks. If 1TB is enough, and you’re comfortable with the price and performance, go for it.

Might not necessarily be completely wise with a Pi. I should look into that.
