I keep a few files in Google Drive, but the rest are on NextCloud.

Having them on an external hard drive ensure that even if the micro sd card gets corrupted, I don’t have to worry about my files (since they are stored locally).

@craigthom When I installed my Honeywell wifi ‘stat my system didn’t have a C wire, but there were a couple unused wires in the signal bundle so I was able to use one for the connection on each side. Any chance yours has a spare hanging inside the wall? On mine the spare wires were wrapped around the bundle about 6 inches and stuffed back into the wall.

@ruouttaurmind I didn’t see any extras. The house was built in the Fifties, but I have no idea when the air conditioning was added on.

It’s worked just fine for months. The Nest puts a little load across something, maybe the fan, that produces enough of a drop to charge the battery when needed.

It’s odd. I have no problem sending boxes of junk to mehmbers for nothing in return, but spending $10.82 for these monkeys is hard.

I had them in my cart until they were removed from sale. Although that was because I didn’t want to buy just two out of 3.

@PlacidPenguin @sammydog01 I wish I could say if they keep looking like this then nobody would pay that much again. However memories are short and people will fight to get one again even at $50, I am feeling ok I didn’t get one and likely will remember not to gamble more than $10 on their junk.

Got a regular BoC today and it is prob worth the $10, maybe not great but cheap enough to be fun.

Thinking it over, Woot displayed psychic abilities, as they knew that whoever got this particular box, would have a Link collection already.

@PlacidPenguin I noticed this as well. When I saw the letter and the certificate, I thought to myself that TT had said no letters went with the limited edition boxes. Guess there was a slip up in the warehouse.

This was the first box which contained the letter.

Either Woot slipped up and sent a limited edition box instead of a regular box, or this Wooter made a mistake.

Most likely won’t find out which one it really was, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t curious.

What was the 5th design?

@PlacidPenguin I got one for “Faked it till I made it!” But that was in a previous box, not a birthday one.

It went with my wife to work, she said she was going to award it to a particularly useless person in a high position but I don’t know if that happened.
