The kind I wish you were selling is Trader Joe’s pound plus milk chocolate. No Trader Joe’s anywhere near me and so what I can afford to buy when I am where I can buy them doesn’t last me more than 4-6 mo and the two places I buy them are either an 8-9 hour drive (MD Anderson) or a 2 day drive (relatives).
They used to do a Jalapeno Kind bar that was pretty close to perfect (if you’re one like me who’s not afraid of a little spice in your life) that I haven’t thought about for quite some time. Now you’ve got me curious… Off to Amz…
They were called “Roasted Nuts & Jalapeno” but it appears they are no longer available…DAMMIT! Much like the old Cinderella song, “Don’t know what’cha got, 'til it’s gone…” I didn’t know I wanted them, until y’all made me think about it. Now, I WANT some for sure!

They even made a line of savory bars for a short time, and I really liked them. I think there was a Thai spice, a BBQ, a honey mustard - but as usual they got discontinued. The stuff I like usually does.

I think this would be a great opportunity for some new company to tackle, emphasizing the savory aspect of an energy bar, and maybe aiming for the market that doesn’t want meat sticks. I think people are so used to KIND bars being sweet that the savory ones didn’t fit in to their expectations.

they’re called KIND bars because the original formula included kindergarteners. this is why they don’t taste as good as you remember.
