@Pavlov a prime example of what happens when the marketing department phones it in. Half the people I’ve talked to about it had no idea it was on Mars until they watched it. The commercials were stumbling, disjointed attempts to show what Disney had wanted it to be. And most people didn’t even see commercials. It isn’t a masterpiece, but it shouldn’t have been yet another Taylor Kitsch flop. The guy just can’t catch a break.
Why is there never an option to choose more than one? How about the “check all that applies”? Sure, I could pick the “I’ll (______) my comments in the forum” but that doesn’t always work for me. If I could pick more than one I’d be done a whole lot quicker.
@Yoda_Daenerys Well, since they are selling the robes for $3 more do you think they can afford check boxes now? Or can they program it so it allows us to "hit all the radio buttons that apply"🎛? They can still keep the “explain in forum” option.
No, I was in a frantic final effort trying to make a good showing for a job I was on trial for and forgot all about it. It was all for nought and I didn’t get the job, although the day before they ended the trial I was about ready to quit, so I’m not too disappointed about not getting the job.
I made ~20 Meh clicks that day, which is pretty good, but I wasn’t able to follow the whole story. Makes me feel bad, cuz the writers obv put a ton on time into it.
I bought two shirts, and that was fun. Wore one the other day and got a LOT of comments. People like the word “Meh”!
@UncleVinny you can still read the whole story. They put it all in a thread to read. I forget what the thread is called, so maybe someone else will be kind enough to link it.
@UncleVinny - @RiotDemon is correct. Use the search bar under Community and type in Apocalypse Soon-ish. Or just Apocalypse and a couple lines down you will see where it says complete saga. Then you can read it in its entirety.
@RiotDemon Thanks for adding a reference back in so all of the comments make a little more sense. But I think @dave did the right thing by changing the giphy since the original was …(still speechless and I can’t scrub out the image from my brain).
Unfortunately I had to work, so I was asleep before it started. Missed a bunch in the beginning. The five minute deals took forever to load for me, so they were often sold out by the time I could see what it was. There was several deals that I could click to buy, then failed during the green loading bar. I missed two fukus and two VMP only items this way.
It also killed my phone in just a few hours being at work. I didn’t realize the website was auto refreshing every minute, keeping my phone awake.
I wouldn’t mind there being another one, but I’d hope to not be working that day, and I hope it’s not for a long time.
@RiotDemon Sorry about your phone but the long load and failure while green bar was loading was a big problem for a lot of people. Not to mention the “I’m not a robot” b.s. Hope they fix it next time and put out a notification that it’s going to be happening a day beforehand. As well as not doing it the night and day before Amazon’s 24hr blitz.

I followed along and “head” a real meh time. (Yes, it did affect my head, Virginia.)
New Hampshire!!!

@WTFsunshine radio buttons cost less than check boxes

@WTFsunshine they wouldn’t be radio buttons if you could hit all that apply, they would be round checkboxes
Only tried to buy one thing, but it was gone near-instantly
@simplersimon
Fukubukuro?
@ashwasp no, actually. Lego Millennium Falcon.
Yes, Virginia, there is a

Bought one thing, it was unbought just recently. So now, I’ve failed completely at the Meh-rathon.
Should have bought the Lego Porsche, but I didn’t want to have the discussion about it when its value was inevitably revealed.
Failed at the obvious failure spots (all fuko, Switch).
All in all, it was a good time.
@djslack how did you unbought it?
@Yoda_Daenerys It wasn’t actually available so I was given my money back.

@RiotDemon a story! That sounds fun.

@WTFsunshine thanks for the name.

The site was acting up when I tried to buy Halo lights (and failed) but I still had fun watching new deals appear and reading the comments of others.
Peeked in when I could at work. Paid attention for a little bit and slept some. I will try to plan better for next year.
i like to watch
/youtube being there i like to watch
i was victorious in not buying anything!

@Yoda_Daenerys Wow…ummm…okay…for once I’m speechless (and that doesn’t happen very often) that’s a heck of a giphy you’ve got there.
@WTFsunshine Testing how low Meh’s standards are I see. @thumperchick opinion please?
@Yoda_Daenerys I remember that squirrel used to scream a lot, and I think I saw that… apparently uh… other character… before.
Strange gif. Don’t remember it being that kind of show.
@Yoda_Daenerys I edited / saved, so it’s a new gif. Half just because I wanted to see what other options were but also what was that thing?
@sammydog01 I was feeding the toddler breakfast and never got to see whatever that was before @dave saved you all from it.
@dave who knows, i didn’t pick it, but no random giphy i have ever been given has received more comments, except maybe rice and beans.
if sensitive to these areas of culture, might want to also disable the telebears option in cowsay - i was a bit surprised by that too.
/giphy random giphy
@dave that was Germaine playing with a uh… Tentacle toy.
@innocuousfarmer guess you haven’t watched since the old days of:
/youtube illwillpress five more minutes
The serious got a lot more “adult” in the last couple of years.
@RiotDemon Thanks for adding a reference back in so all of the comments make a little more sense. But I think @dave did the right thing by changing the giphy since the original was …(still speechless and I can’t scrub out the image from my brain).
I followed along and it gave me anxiety.

Don’t count on it
@WTFsunshine luckily I had a meh battery pack with me!
I only got 52 clicks. I’m sad about that, and should probably give up on life forever, but I’ll just keep plodding on…
@fuzzmanmatt that’s the spirit!
I still have the meh-rathon theme song stuck in my head.
@lljk i must have had the sound turned down, could you hum a few bars?
I saw very few of the deals because work and sleep.
I was in Virginia, so what?
