the time left, not time used, in a 45 minute half was being displayed. (Never had a scoreboard at my gamefields to ingrain themselves.) By time I realized it was wrong the edit window had closed, so I replied to myself with a correction, which apparently got sucked into the ether when my screen froze. Guess that warpage also diddled CtG’s timeline. And as cheap as that ether is, we still wasted more than it was worth on this topic.
@cfg83 You can make time slow down yourself. JUST MOVE FASTER. (That’s what Einstein’s Theory of Relativity tells us and it has been experimentally confirmed many times.)

@Mandamm I wish you’d keep your rain down there instead of allowing it to drift north to central Texas. I’m mad at myself for not pushing through the heat and humidity to finish my mowing Saturday. Of course it rained Sunday a.m. and then overnight and my yard has standing puddles AGAIN. More rain forecast for next few days with Flash Flood alerts for bonuses. As you said, grass is happily green; St Augustine must be Irish.
Horrible! I lost one of my cats last week. I guess since she was almost 20, I should have been expecting it, but she’d always been so healthy.
Now her sister is grieving and I may lose her…and all of the vet bills on top of it.
My heart is broken, my sleep schedule is all messed up, and I’m not dealing with any of it well at all.

I got rid of all my stuff, prepped my house to rent, handed over the keys to property management, drove to Yuma, nearly broke down in a new truck, drove to San Diego, my friend’s GSP got viciously attacked while out for a walk, now we’re in Big Bear Lake and heading back to San Diego this evening. On Sunday I’ll fly up to NorCal for 2 weeks.
Went to the funeral of my aunt, mother’s sister. Not completely awful as she was suffering and the family reunited, but still pretty bad to see her go. She had her children and some grand children around her at the end.
USA & France both won their first group matches so looking good for the moment. Had to sign up for FoxOne to get the games but if I can remember to cancel the auto charge on the day of the WC final all will be good and I’m only $20 out of pocket…

I started yesterday (so I could watch the France-Senegal game) with the 3-day free trial, set my memo to remember my coverage will expire on the 19th (tagged to my ROKU account). I may have to use a different email to setup a different “free trial” for the last game.
