To me, Palindrome month is more meh than not.
I find it more interesting that cheapskates like me could be reusing the 1998 Calendar for this year. (Maybe you have one of those fancy-schmancy ones that has a classic art picture to head each month. Or cats.) For instance, June 12, 1998 was a Friday and July 4 was a Saturday.

@cfg83@Kyeh It’s a little realized fact: Monthly calendars repeat EXACTLY, including leap years’ effects, every 28 years, as long as every 4th year is a leap year. But that’ll get interrupted for the year 2100, since that year will NOT be a leap year. (But 2000 was, so the pattern continued from the 1900s into our 2000s.)
So you can pack away this year’s 2026 calendar for reuse in 2054 and 2082, if you’re still around ( I don’t expect to be, barring anything very strange). But new ones will definitely be needed for the 2100s, if anyone is still around.

But interestingly enough even though the 28 day pattern doesn’t work across non-leap year centuries the non-leap year calendar pattern also repeats every 6 or 11 years the vast majority of the time. Typically, 11 years, 11 years, 6 years, 11 years, 11years etc cyclically. Which makes sense since 11+11+6 =28…
@chienfou@phendrick I should have figured this out many CALENDAR years ago, but I guess BIG CALENDAR had me hoodwinked all this time. Shoulda stuck with the Mayan Calendar.
