Too funny, I was thinking about my woot screaming monkey just this week. Mine didn’t survive the kids. I also miss my woot off USB lights. Not sure where those ended up, but having moved 5 times since i got them, I’m sure it was in some move. Any other classic Woot toys you remember?

I had a pair, I have no idea what happened to them. I know we used them for a graduation party, I’m assuming they went in the trash bc they didn’t survive the night.
@kykazaa@therealjrn The LEAK FROGS! of the two I got, I gave one to our “Risk” manager. She handled our product liability claims. I worked for a plumbing manufacturer that paid out (at the time) 10 million a year in claims.

@kykazaa@yakkoTDI I kept them in the back of my car, but they UV rotted long ago. I saw some at a thrift store the other day but did not imbibe because when I powered them up, they did not spin. No spin, no money, honey.
@dontwantaname it was a special edition. I think they only sold them once. They glow in the dark! I also have a baby w00t monkey (keychain version) that appears in one of my other movies (same YT channel).
My monkeys still live on top of my wall unit in the living room! My nephew was teaching in the south Pacific as part of his graduate degree back then. I had so many monkeys I boxed up a bunch of them and mailed them to him. (his mom never sent the kids anything. She only sent stuff for him) I guess I sent him about 50. He sent me a bunch of thankyou notes from the kids! The best one was “Thank you very much for those annoying monkeys!” It was from one of the kids who didn’t like them! My nephew said until the batteries in them died you heard them all the time! He thought it was great!
I didn’t get all of them but I bought the limit of 3 every time they were available. Once I had a large enough stash I started the annual Great Christmas Monkey Diaspora, wrapping up a dozen or more with home-designed or special accessories to each remote family group. Usually sent with official looking documentation and care instructions.
The best year was when I found Anti Monkey Butt Powder at Home Depot… doing the ‘Official Documentation’ and sending each family household one of the last giant monkeys as the “Supervisor” who was sent to make sure they were taking proper care of their screaming monkeys, and applying the powder correctly… such fun!
I still have the Christmas Sock monkey, the checkered flag monkey, and a couple Monkey Game monkeys but all of them are suffering from either dead batteries or deteriorating elastics.
@duodec in the video i posted above it features Vlad the Irradiated w00t Monkey and Baby Monkey. (White glow in the dark and Keychain version) I still have one of the giant w00t monkeys but i never made a video using it. After w00t sold out I stopped shopping there so i missed out on the other cool versions you mentioned like Zombie Monkey.
@SBCJester21 You didn’t miss on the zombie monkey. There is only one. Every time monkeys were for sale I would post my anticipation that Woot would finally… finally! send me a zombie monkey, and started a storyline about it. Three Piece Woot finally took mercy on me and fedex’d the zombie monkey, and I posted up a finisher in the forums there.
Maybe… From WOOT! Pretty sure Matt would have transferred any product liability issues to Jeff in the sale.

My monkeys were banned from the house by SWMBO for being annoying. I think they went to nieces and nephews.
