@ohhwell it’s more of a “you’ll never have to bother with plugging them in, ever” type of thing. They’re supposed to charge from just indoor lights as well. So by just leaving the case lying around it’s supposed to stay charged… In theory.

@ColeSloth I bought them and took them on a trip to Aruba. They actually sound really good. The solar charging is more gimmicky than substance since it unsurprisingly charges really slowly. I would definitely buy again. No regrets. The only odd thing is I was on the beach one time and all of a sudden someone else’s music was playing in them. It only happened once and I have no idea how.
@ColeSloth I bought them. They do sound really good and clear. The solar charging didn’t work for me at all, even after I left them outdoors on a sunny day for over 24 hours. The case is at least twice as long as a typical earbud case, something to keep in mind if you like to carry yours around in a pants pocket.
I have a pair. Works well, connects to both my phone and computer for work and listening to music. ANC is okay, compared to over the ears headphones. Case is a bit large IMO, probably because of the solar panel
I can’t wear that style of earbud because they don’t stay in my ears. Apparently I have small ear holes. Luckily, the flatter style from Samsung fit much better.

My problem is I generally use earbuds like this under hearing protectors when I’m mowing. These don’t fit in the ear cups well due to the dangly part.
The solar charging mostly seems useless, I left these panel-up while I just occasionally used them, and they did eventually show the orange light of reduced charge, so despite my extremely sparse usage it wasn’t able to keep up with the charge. The earbuds themselves are fine and work well enough. (I actually have a number of earbuds hooked to different phones, and I think I was only using these once or twice a week for work meetings since they were attached to the business phone.)

I can’t say I have ever found myself in a situation where I needed earbuds with a case that can charge using solar.
Even if you are in the middle of nowhere for a week or two, you would still need something to charge whatever device is sending music to these.
