@chienfou@kittykat9180@yakkoTDI Yeah, love all that stuff. My wife is from Indonesia. The good stuff you can only get in import stores. There are a few varieties, Oelek, Badjak, can’t remember the others.Those people that went crazy hoarding Sriracha don’t know what they were missing.
Wait that’s 8.5 lbs of Sambal Oelek? Wow, you might be the new leader.
Relative is a vet. After my cat got urine crystals she informed us that fish meals increases a cats chance of getting urine crystals (like kidney stones). Fortunately my boy survived and we do not do fish for him anymore. He’s almost 18 years old now.
@BergyD umm. didn’t know that. My cat died from (we believe) kidney problems. Not uncommon in a (often male) cat. He did like his tuna but only the ones he wanted. But mostly good quality dry food. I don’t think I overfed him fish but maybe? I think sometimes you just don’t know.
It’s the same with us humans; I remember 20 years ago we were being lectured on NOT eating avocado or nuts of salmon because they were high in fat. Or eggs, which are now OK except we cannot afford them. All that old medical advice is mostly out-the-door now that they have new $1000/month drugs to sell you instead. Snake oil market boom!
@kittykat9180@mamajoan@yakkoTDI Yeah I’ve never had it but that’s a whole new category. Think I will pass. Or might pass-out if I was forced to eat one. hash-tag #someoneelsesbucketlist.
I’m surprised there wasn’t a both or it depends choice in the poll. It depends on where I am when my preference for one or the other comes into play, I usually like both.
Tuna.
No.
@yakkoTDI But he was a pretty good coach.
How much can there possibly be to say?
Compromise: Chicken of the sea?
@phendrick yep I agree!
@mycya4me @phendrick weirdest name but good ad campaign from my childhood.
Neither.
@kjady Yeah, I’m also going with neither
@kjady I stand with this group, neither.
@kjady @rustyh3 I’m 100% there too. Mayo-based anything to me is inedible.
I do not into salad.
@PooltoyWolf You do not do WHAT into salads? Maybe better not to know.
Salad with tuna or chicken on it…
Where was steak salad? Or bacon salad on this ballot? I support neither nominated candidate.
@NecrisRex I’m on Team Steak and Bacon Salad.
Tuna but only if I make it. I don’t like mayonnaise and most people put way too much. I use just a smidge to keep it moist.
@kittykat9180
SWMBO uses non-fat Greek yogurt… It’s a WW hack.
@chienfou I don’t know what those acronyms are.

I like both! Tuna and chicken, I mean.
@chienfou @kittykat9180 I sometimes use sour cream instead of mayo. Of course that works best when making spicy tuna salad with sambal oelek.

@chienfou @kittykat9180 @pmarin I used to eat so much I saved about $6 by buying the big bottle.
No mayo.
Tuna - with diced onion and dill pickle, held together with mayo.

Piano tuna.
@werehatrack

… but you can’t tuna fish?

More directly answering the intent of the survey:
Yes.
Chicken salad all the way
Egg salad for me, thanks. #vegetarian
@mamajoan So a fetus is ok?
@mamajoan @yakkoTDI unless you’re eating balut, the eggs are unfertilized.
@kittykat9180 @mamajoan @yakkoTDI Yeah I’ve never had it but that’s a whole new category. Think I will pass. Or might pass-out if I was forced to eat one. hash-tag #someoneelsesbucketlist.
@mamajoan @pmarin @yakkoTDI not an experience I want either.
@mamajoan I like egg salad too, but our eggs come from our chickens, not plants.
@macromeh Not sure what your point is…? I’m not vegan so I do eat eggs from chickens, as well as Cadbury creme eggs and Reese’s peanut butter eggs
I like both!
