How hard is it raining? Typical rain we have if we have rain I don’t do anything. I do have a raincoat I wear it once in a blue moon maybe once a year, I do have an umbrella one of those really big golf type umbrellas and I used it when I lived in Monterey I don’t think I’ve used it once since I came back
A proper raincoat. My hunting coat is the first truly breathable waterproof garment I’ve ever owned. Not cheap but for sitting in the rain for hours it’s worth it.
My incredible speed to run between the drops of rain.

Stay indoors

Especially if there’s lightning along with the rain.
Gore-Tex because it’s Seattle. And when it’s sunny, also Gore-Tex because it’s Seattle.
A brimmed hat is good enough unless it’s raining so hard that an umbrella wouldn’t help either.
I ignore it unless it’s a torrential downpour, then I might throw a hoodie on. I’m a Seattle native.

If not going outside isn’t an option then I’ll use an umbrella.
