['THON] Romantic Gestures That Barely Counted
0What’s the mostly mildly romantic thing you’ve done that had an outsized payoff in terms of how much it was appreciated?
We’re talking impulse purchases, impromptu cooking, roses bought from dudes at intersections.
Small effort, big reward. Let’s hear 'em.

Speak of the devil and there he shows up.
Bought her a couple books.
I can tell you the one that hasn’t gotten me anywhere and I stopped doing. I used to make a scrapbook page every year for Valentine’s Day (with a picture of us from that year) for my boyfriend. He never appreciated it so after like 10 years or so I stopped doing it. The scrapbook site in the basement somewhere. I’ll have to think on one that actually got me somewhere.
@Star2236 must not be his love language. Thoughtful/sentimental gestures are mostly wasted on my partner, but I score points by just spending time watching her stupid shows with her. Even though I have zero interest/investment in the outcome of the Korean reality dating show, as long as I don’t gripe about it, she’s happy we’re hanging out.
