My summer project has been cleaning out my barn/workshop. It was full of stuff, to the point of being difficult to even do anything in it. The overall cleanup is progressing well, but with one disappointment. I have a motorcycle stored in the barn that I haven’t ridden for several years (due to reasons). I got it out and did some maintenance/cleanup but haven’t yet been able to get it ride-able: I think it sat with old fuel in the carbs and they are gunked up - it will start if I dribble fuel into the intake, but won’t stay running. I’ve done a lot of my own maintenance/repair in the past, but this looks like more than I want to deal with myself, and I haven’t gotten around to taking it somewhere to get fixed. And now the season is winding down (fair-weather biker)… Bummer
/showme summer ragrets
@mediocrebot not bad
I wish I’d grown the tomatoes I bought seeds for.
/showme dream of beautiful tomatoes dashed
@mediocrebot Hah - “dashed,” very literal.

My summer regret is always not being on the lake more, it’s really a lifestyle. Also not going to a fair and eating an elephant ear.
@Star2236 my rule is that if you think about going to the lake, it means you should go to the lake.
I regret missing some spectacular sunsets over the harbor and some harborside concerts because I worked late.
