Things are really getting weird now.

Was tracking my July IRK to see if it was really going to get delivered today. And the following weird things have happened.

My IRK is out for delivery ON A FEDEX TRUCK even though it says smartpost delivery.
The specs give the same one pound weight and small dimensions that it had when shipped.
It was shipped on July 22nd and her it is being delivered 3 days later-never had a meh delivery arrive that quickly.

Feel I am in a meh alternate universe or I am going to wake up from a dream.

Got it today-not good or bad just meh-no reason why it couldn’t have been sent on a slow boat to china like the rest of the meh stuff I have ordered lately. Sure sending by fedex cost way more than either the $ 5 I paid or the worth of what was in the box.

SmartPost has finally gotten smart like UPS’ SurePost hybrid service. If they already have a delivery in the vicinity, then it’s more cost effective for FedEx themselves to do the final delivery. If they don’t, then it’s handed off to USPS to do the final delivery.

- @narfcake In my small area, FedEx used to drop off a pallet or two every day. Now they are dropping a sack a couple times a week. The sack might have a single package or a few. Big change this summer.

July 24 - Arrived PB - College park, GA
July 25 - Picked Up - Grapevine, TX
July 25 - Ready to ship from grapevine
july 25 - in transit - grapevine
july 27 - delivered to PB - College Park, GA
July 27 - Departed PB - Grapevine, TX…

no packages delivered…

that “Picked up and processed by Agent” seems to be meaningless, they’ve got some code internally that includes the destination, and it’s getting mapped to the Agent line. Seen it multiple times
