The Best Ever Test Teas Thursday!
11Today we have one of my absolute favorite teas, MarketSpice Cinnamon-Orange. The tea was so good we had to brew a second pot. We really had to make up for the last tea.
From MarketSpice -
This unique spicy, naturally sweet flavor has become world famous, originating in the historic Pike Place Market in Seattle. We recommend storing in an air-tight glass jar in the refrigerator to keep the flavorings fresh and moist. Ingredients: Black tea, Cinnamon(Artificial) and Orange flavoring(Natural) and spices. Contains no sugar.
From the crowd
Smell: 9.83
Look: 9.666
Taste: 9.4
When @cythwulf brewed this tea, they had barely made it back to their desk before the smell was radiating from the pot.
@cardiganb “HOLY CINNAMON BATMAN.”
@Halfling “when is fall again? soon? thanks”
(Same @halfling, same. PSL is around the corner.)
@nommynoms “Holy shit it’s the holidays” and “Excuse me while I order 3 cases of this online.”
@feralrants got poetic on us calling the smell a “liquid bakery” and apparently they “could see the cinnamon sugar swirls in every sip.”
…can we get someone to check on feralrants? Just in case. Last I checked this wasn’t a hallucinogen…
The holidays are coming, do yourself a favor and order some of this tea. Or if you’re in the Seattle area, stop by for a sample. It’s been a few years but I know they haven’t changed.
Let us know what you’re drinking this week. Has anyone tried this one before? If so tell us your thoughts!

I pretty much drink Japanese sencha green tea if I’m drinking tea
But this one sounds like my other favorite Constant Comment (except for the cinnamon)
I like to add cinnamon to coffee, and tea is better with fruits or herbs.
I’m still stuck on the glazed lemon loaf…need to play catch up
@amehzinggrace You’re welcome to join us for tea tastings on Tuesday and Thursday
@Cythwulf I know…and I keep meaning to come back…but I’ve been slammed w/deadlines and now bronchitis (you don’t want me around right now)…hoping to free up and come back to visit for tea time in October (fingers crossed)
@amehzinggrace I love that glazed lemon loaf! It’s probably great for bronchitis.
@amehzinggrace Same. That lemon loaf tea was out of this world.
Finding out that Meh does tea testings makes me so happy.
