@cfg83 has been around a long time but just recently got very active playing with the bot and making a LOT of /showme images.

@caffeineguy has also been around but hasn’t said that much until he revealed his talent for refurbishing rare coffee machines.

And @capnjb was a Thanksgiving goat a few years ago, but has reemerged as the coffee benefactor extraordinaire.

All deserving of becoming scapegoats being acknowledged, right?

@chienfou Absent-minded, anyway. I’ve been trying to fall back a bunch on my visibility, to save spoons. I haven’t gone completely ghost yet. The Goat vote seems to be able to conclude without me, for what it’s worth.

For Reasons, I haven’t been much fun for the past year. Maybe that will improve later this month. Maybe. Dunno yet. (December always sucks for me, so I will be trying hard not to rain on everyone else’s parade for the next 60+ days.)

While that’s obviously true, apathy/lack of participation is what is causing this problem to start with.

@chienfou Hence the Bump to get it back up where somebody might participate. I’m not apathetic, I’m just very, very tired, discouraged, and generally worn the eff down. And, honestly, I’ve had to come to belated grips with the fact that I’m about as funny as … a generic not-amusing thing. And I have a tendency to piss people off, Not interacting reduces how much I offend others, though sometime I wonder if some of them are enjoying being offended so that they can be combative about it. (If that’s happening, sorry, not going to play their game, they can get their jollies from somebody that they’re paying for the privilege.)

@mycya4me @werehatrack One aspect to keep in mind is that the “already served” aspect was a community decision in the past and it’ll remain a community decision if/when it’s time to change that. Indirectly, some members have served more than once already.

With that said, I suppose a certain shirtgoat is safe since there’s probably zero chance of meh offering more catshirts …

@narfcake @werehatrack I am not sure They would want me Back. I was quite active during the Month I served. I don’t by that many Printed T-Shirts anymore, for 2 reason 1) the High cost! 2) 3-4 drawers full of Printed t-shirts.

@mycya4me Perhaps I should not mention that I have a six-head screen press in the garage. (I’m swapping to DTF going forward, for everything except the metallics.)
