It was good. Really good.
That is all.
I’m going to a movie tomorrow if i can get motivated. I guess this one? Or The New Mutants? Or Unhinged? One of them.
I went to see The Eight Hundred on Saturday. It was good.
@sammydog01 I haven’t seen The New Mutants yet. The 800 isn’t playing at my theatre. The other choices are Words on Bathroom Walls and the David Copperfield movie. Not really interested in those. Out of Tenet and Unhinged, I have a feeling you’d like Tenet more.
I’m really bummed that the majority of the classic movies ended on the 4th. I didn’t get to see everything I wanted to since most of them were only playing while I was at work. The only one that’s a classic playing now is 42, I suppose since it stars Chadwick Bozeman. RIP.
@RiotDemon I wish they had more classics while there are so few new releases. I meant to go see Jaws. Oh well.
@sammydog01 I managed to see Dark Knight and Sonic as classics. I wanted to see Dark Knight Rises, LOTR, and Interstellar but I never got the chance. There was one showing of interstellar I could of gone to, but I wouldn’t of gotten out until 1:30am and I normally wake up around 7:30, so I skipped it.
The LOTR and dark knight scheduling pissed me off. There was one weekend that Dark Knight Rises played in the morning, then Dark Knight played in the afternoon… Why not the other way around so you can watch them in order?? LOTR was the same way. Just didn’t get it.
I super duper really authentically wish I could see this movie without going to a theater.
@jhinra There are probably ways to do that. It will likely be available for streaming.
@jhinra luckily they are showing this at so many different times that there was only two other people in the entire theatre and they sat really far away.
@jhinra @mike808 I’m not sure. This got a full theatrical release. It will probably be a while.
@jhinra I have yet to share a theater with anyone I didn’t bring with me and I’ve seen two movies. One was even on a Saturday.
@jhinra @RiotDemon
It might not be on streaming or rental/PPV until after whatever Oscar eligibility requirements have been met. Once that happens, the people who sunk money into these movies certainly want to make their money back and at least break even.
I didn’t realize Christopher Nolan was into trolling his lead actors like that. I’m going to have to go back and check the blurb for Batman Begins to see if it references Newsies.
@Limewater just wait until you see it.
We still don’t have movie theaters open in Michigan, must be nice.
@Star2236 It would be nicer if they had movies to show.
@sammydog01 @Star2236 yep. Very few movies showing. Honestly I’m surprised they opened.
I went to see Tenet today. I had trouble following what was happening. It was really loud. I went to the bathroom and came back at the end of what I’m pretty sure was an explanation but I’m not sure since I missed it.
But it was fun and things blew up. The acting was great. I might go again if they shaved off an hour.
@sammydog01 I just got out from watching it again with a friend. I enjoyed it even more the second time around watching my friend have the fucking revelation of a lifetime.
Bathroom breaks are definitely not recommended during this movie.
