Abraham Grace Merritt was apparently best known as A. Merritt, though I always heard of him as Abraham Merritt, so there THAT is. I prefer his longer stuff, which gives him the space to go big, but his big stuff’s not really horror and anyway I’m thinking short stories, especially for a Sunday night.
