Apparently I missed the original kickstarter thing. I think that would have given me more street cred. But I pay a monthly fee, is that enough? I’m trying to buy less and clean/donate more from my house but it’s nice not thinking about added shipping each time. Also I buy on the wine site so the “free” shipping definitely makes a big difference there. Sometimes I feel guilty buying from there knowing how much they must be paying for shipping (but don’t take it away, please!)
@pmarin update forgot to check; there is a “lively crisp Vermentino” offered this weekend. And I do like unusual whites like that. Will read reviews but probably buy. Oh no here we go again!

Mediocre since 2016 (at least). Looking for ways to celebrate my extraordinary mediocrity when my 10th anniversary arrives. But I’ll probably miss that day, since it’s a properly mediocre thing to do.

That means I’ve spent $640 to ship the 400 orders I’ve placed from here (plus a few cases of wine and a rare order from one of the other Mediocre sites). A bit less than $1.60 per order overall. I guess that’s pretty mediocre…

Still VMP here and an OG Kickstarter. But I missed a payment because I didn’t update my credit card, and after I was temporarily dropped they couldn’t restore my original join date

I just looked at my account and didn’t see any way to look at how many orders I have placed- is there such a thing, or did you count your receipts/CC charge notifications or something similar?

No, I cancelled mine after using it for about a year. Basic shipping is quite reasonable at $5 per order, especially if you buy in bulk.
Now, I just pay the five bucks when I want something, it’s worked out to cost juuuust about the same with my order frequency, and I’m free to take time away any time I feel like it, without ever worrying I’ll get dinged for a month of non-use. That would be wasteful, after all.
I really liked the membership when I did have it. It’s a super great value if you order all the time, and there are some forum perks as well.
