@phendrick I said no because summer feels like hell in Houston. I can still enjoyably sit outside part of the day (mornings and after dark) so it doesn’t feel like summer quite yet.
It feels very spring here.
Cool morning and warm, but not hot, days.
We’re still getting warmer than normal daytime temps, but I don’t think we’ve gone above 84° yet.
We’re having a pretty typical spring pattern. Highs in the '80s lows in the 50s … great weather to be outside working in the yard pool or prepping the pool for the upcoming season. Rains have been intermittent and a bit further apart than I would like so we’re having to resort to using sprinklers on all the flower beds. Veggies have started being planted and lots of stuff is starting to bloom.
I’m also in CA, and I was really mad at March. I love winter in the Bay Area, it’s a small respite from the intense dryness and heat of what is essentially late spring, summer, and fall. I’m incredibly grateful it’s back to being cool and rainy again, but it was warm enough long enough to really confuse all the plant life. I’m worried my pomegranate tree has bloomed too early.
It always feels like summer here, except when it doesn’t.
@Cerridwyn so how often doesn’t it feel like summer?

@Cerridwyn @mycya4me A little bit of seasoning can’t hurt.

@mycya4me well when you hit Triple digits in march. So when doesn’t it feel like summer maybe a day and here and there in December or February
No. Doesn’t even feel like Spring yet.
@heartny how sad
It almost hit 80 the other day but was in the 30s overnight. In a few days it was back to a high of 45ish and raining. Entirely unpredictable.
It’s Texas… haven’t you been outside? Except for some on-again, off-again April showers, it’s been early-summer hot.
Oh Wow

70s two weeks ago, 30’s at night last week, 80’s and maybe 90’s predicted this week.

March was the hottest March on record here (Central Coast CA) it’s been raining and cold so far in April. Weird.
