@booogerbrain Did it involve the ginger afro smashing the bridesmaid in the pink outfit in the confessional, and that’s why she had to change out of her yellow bridesmaids outfit?
That’s an awesome picture that tells a story not just of their wedding but of a moment in history. As long as they stayed safe, no one is sick and in the end they got married, the rest is just stories they’ll tell. Geez, I thought we did well when it rained on our wedding day, our reception was outdoors in a tent and our cake collapsed. I cannot imagine the stress that lead up to the day for them.
@therealjrn@ybmuG Yep, really my nephew. The ginger afro (It comes and goes, but it’s kind of been a trademark for several years. It has been double that size.) is his little brother. “Little” sister (she’s taller than me) is in the dark yellow dress on the left. Older sister on the far right. Mom (my little sister) over his shoulder, Dad to the right.
I’m afraid I don’t know the bride’s family, I’ve only met her.
@therealjrn@ybmuG The reception was cancelled, and they’ll have a party later on, when things calm down. The ceremony itself was limited to 10, including the couple.
@blaineg@therealjrn I know a lot of people that did that by choice - small ceremony and then a big party after the fact. Anyway, best wishes to the new couple!
Pretty cool picture. I expanded it and narrated parts of a story about the scene in my head.

@booogerbrain Or that the bridesmaid in the white sweater is trying to hide that she is three months pregnant and is looking at the father?

@ybmuG You always bring us interesting stuff @blaineg. Is that really your nephew? Great pic!

@therealjrn @ybmuG I asked my sister if we should gift the couple bottled water or toilet paper.

The photo is on the eastern steps (to the left in this photo) of the Bountiful, Utah temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
@blaineg Beautiful.
@blaineg I think that Angel on top of the Temple dropped the horn during the earthquake in SLC a few days ago… Those kids certainly have a story to tell. Congrats!

Congrats to all!
That is a great picture and good to see everyone is having some fun with it. I assume the entire ceremony was socially distanced.
You may elbow bump the bride …
@stolicat I wasn’t there, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they kissed.
@stolicat Do NOT elbow bump! They tell you to cough or sneeze into your elbow.
No touching at all. Say hello. Or in this case Congratulations.
@callow @stolicat
That is wonderful that they found a way to have their wedding!
