20Okay. So, this isn’t a rage quit. But this will be my last post on Meh.
I’ve recently realized that I’ve spent more time on Instagram and meh than I have with my daughter.
I’ve spent more time on whatsapp and facebook than I have with my wife.
That is a hard realization.
I’m getting off the internet for a bit. I’ll still use it as a tool. But no longer for an escape.
I am deleting my accounts everywhere. I want to be present in my own life.
I have met SO many amazing people here. I’ve been here a long time and it’s been wonderful meeting you all.
Love you all.
I have a few rules I live my life by… but rule #1 is family first. And I’ve been neglecting that. That’s my fault. I need to course correct.
Thank you all for all the fun, but I’m getting off at the next stop and deleting my meh bookmark.
I have made many good friends here. But I likely won’t be back. If you’d like to stay in touch, you can text me at 240-760-zero-five-zero four.

In the general unhealthy-habit advice sense, remember, even if you do check / comment on, you didn’t fail. Because you have many more times of succeeding being with your family and changing for the better, than that moment of relapse. Stumbling never negates forward progress.

Ok, I fibbed. I guess that wasn’t my last post. I hope there is another exchange next year. I’ll swing through and join in if I’m able.
I had a very dear friend who made me look at life in a very different fashion. And now I’m on a new path.
I’m not disappearing forever. But you might not see me for six months. Maybe a year. But there are so many people here who have made an impact on my world.
I just watched a documentary about Mr. Rogers. IYKYK.
He said the best part about literature are the blank spaces between paragraphs because it gives you a moment to think about what you just read.
He wrote a book and mentioned a professor who had once said, ‘The thing that evil hates most is forgiveness’. And then the rest of the page was blank. I’m going to go think about that and practice that in my day to day.

I have been considering deleting instagram and facebook off my phone recently. I waste a lot of time on those that I should be using to focus on homework, professional development, and my up coming relocation.

I’m so glad I decided to check out meh today instead of just hitting the button (bc of my arm). You will definitely be missed. I’m really glad I got to know you. You helped me out at times over the years by just letting me know you had similar health issues. I’m definitely gonna miss talking to you and your secret not so secret coffee. Thanks for the laughter when I needed it. I’ll definitely call out your name next year and possibly text you for the next exchange.
