Looks like this has a lithium battery (with the charge cable)… so how can it be used on a plane to track your luggage? Unless you traveling by bus or train… You have to carry it on the plane.
So, I’m thinking a pass.
Plus my airport has a repacking station with a scale.

yeah. i actually do need a luggage scale, but apple-only features are not useful to me.
(my current method is to stand on a scale while hugging my suitcase and having someone else read the weight)
