@jasneko Easy vote - I love it! Someone else did “Paws,” and maybe they got in there earlier so they have more votes, but I like yours better.

@Kyeh Thanks! I had started working on it before the derby but the weather cooled down so much and was so pleasant I spent the whole evening outside instead… so didn’t finish and submit until the day after- late!

I’m not a big fan of this theme

@jasneko One thing I’ve noticed over the years is how seldom you rely on other IP. The majority of your designs are originals, which I appreciate.

(One of these days years, I’ll do a full count. It should be north of 4 months worth meow.)

@narfcake True! Thanks, for the observations! I do prefer original designs… also if you recall, that used to be the way of woot in the beginning, it was all about being original and unique. Using the work of others disqualified designs, except for an occasional derby that said "IP allowed - but even then, it had to be a much more subtle reference (like that cookie monster shirt was redone so the head was down on the table). So different now…

@heartny Thank you! That background was watercolor painted on paper… then first I put a giant bee, but changed it to the little bees… glad you like them

@sammydog01 Thanks! It was a late entry and I rather like it too I gave it a scratchier / rougher drawing style (rather than smooth or partly smooth), did you notice / like that?

@heartny @jasneko @sammydog01 I like all 3! Also, I received the shirts I ordered last month & I’m happy that the colors are really strong now. For a little while it seems like they were less vivid than the original designs.

@Lynnerizer Thank you! Glad to hear that as I was alternating between shirt colors with it and finally decided on black for the most contrast!
That galaxy blobby thing is watercolor painted on paper, then I added in the cat and the stars

Thanks for the description. I finally just got my watercolor supplies together, now I just have to flip open my spiral binder of paper and pick up the brush! You’re my inspiration!
