Shipping Update: Here's what's up with your stuff
18As you all may have guessed/read/figured out by now, we've had a shipping issue or two. We are working with some new systems and those systems are all being optimized at the same time. In the end, we'll have one lean mean shipping machine. But for now it's pretty meh. So with our goal to be as transparent as possible in mind, we thought we'd start a thread to let you know which items have and have not shipped, even if you can't quite see it yet in your My Orders section. We'll update this thread each day for the time being to let you all know when your crap is headed out the door. Eventually, the thread for the product you purchased will be the best place to check. But for now, we figured we'd consolidate all of the information for everyone into one thread. So let's get to it.
To date we have shipped:
- Roombas
- Speck Cases
- JBL Speaker Docs >:(
- Swann Helicopters
- KAI X-mini Speakers
- eWave Soap Dispensers
Still to ship:
- T-shirts :( (we finally got them in and will get them out next week)
- Tasco Microscopes (shipping tomorrow)
- Saeco Espresso Machines (should be out the door tomorrow)
- Kindle HDX (should ship tomorrow)
And on one final note, now that we are about caught up on shipments, we may have a little extra time on our hands to get the 福袋 out the door.

"And on one final note, now that we are about caught up on shipments, we may have a little extra time on our hands to get the 福袋 out the door."
Gesundheit....
福袋 is an actual thing! This must mean that Fukubukuro bags most predictably be for sale on Japanese New Years.
Now the real challenge: when is Japanese New Years? Is it by the lunar calendar or solar calendar? Or maybe even the lunisolar calendar?! Surely not the Chinese calendar, because we're talking about Japanese culture, or is this Meh.com's subtle way of telling us their racist?
I'm going crazy.

Well don't ship the 福袋 too fast...I'm going out of town and am counting on it not arriving while I'm gone.
Note to self: Express ship pitamuffin's 福袋
@hart - in that case, I'm going out of town too. :)
Please ship the 福袋 fast... I'm going out of town and I'm counting on getting it before I leave.
In Mandarin Chinese, 福袋 is "fu dai" which while much shorter is way less funnier than "fukuburuko"
Well this site < http://flyingdairy.blogspot.com/2010/01/chinese-new-year-is-around-corner-5.html > suggests a similar meaning
While this site < https://chinese.yabla.com/chinese-english-pinyin-dictionary.php?define=dai+fu > suggests something far more prosaic
Good news! The Saeco Espresso Machines shipped today.
To all the 10 people who bought it, what were you thinking?
That I want delicious espresso at a great price.
my mom actually always wanted one of those, i bought it for her
Received my Swann Air Attack Helicopter in the mail today, Woot! I mean, meh. Oh, and a quick note for whomever boxed up these things for shipping, tape works best if you attach it to both flaps on the top of the box. That was a perfectly meh packaging job. :P
damn - you received before me. hoping mine gets in tomorrow for weekend play.
And I crashed it in the kitchen. My wife says I can't play with it in the house anymore.
Sorry about the taping. Our machines gained sentience and they're rebelling in subtle ways. (But seriously, we'll work on it)
@hart Your shipping is absolutely meh. My fuku looked like someone sat on it and then taped it together with the top crushed in.
@k3nd0, wait...you're not supposed to sit on the packages before taping!? Unfortunately, you probably have your local USPS to blame for that
But, hey! You got one! What'd you get?
@hart I already posted my fuku contents in another thread. I would link it but I dunno how to make it look cool.
@hart Maybe we could use an FAQ on forum code? A reply button to replies would be nice too. Maybe it could automagically add the @user.
FedEx sends the smart post on pallets. The ones under the pallet feet get crushed before the gorillas at usps get it.
Overall I don't think the shipping speed is too bad, there's bound to be a little adjustment time when setting up a whole new supply chain. And the delivery time was specified in the FAQ, after all, nobody should have expected stuff to show up next day. It's not like they're ice cream cakes.
Yum, Ice cream cakes!
I totally expect an ice cream cake, now.
Me too.
I thought ice cream cakes were included w/ each order.
I will do my part...
I will part my do.
It would be swell if you guy could add the Kickstarter fukuburuko to our orders page. Just nice to see it there.
I didn't order a spec case, but realize I need one now, so feel free to send one in my fukuehstever pack. ;)
I was wondering the other day how long I'll continue ordering from meh without actually getting anything. I mean, there's got to be a breaking point where I stop ordering until something...anything shows up. This could just be a very elaborate "experiment" on their part... "How many repeat customers can we get before they figure out we're not actually going to send them anything?"
Jail stops this experiment. Unless Morgan Freeman is ever jailed, then I'll do this to join him.
Get busy living or get busy dying. Also, I think my chopper was delivered today. I think this site is legit.
Quick update from yesterday: Yesterday we said the Saeco Espresso Machines were sent out. Well they were, at least most of them. We discovered today that the last 11 orders didn't make it out the door yesterday but they are officially on the way today.
Today's update:
Have a great weekend everyone!
NINJA'D. Damn you, @MEHcus and your bullshit time travel.
@Hart I win. I like to win. It's fun.
Hmm...looks like no one has posted yet, so I'll do the honors. Here's what shipped today:
So, hey...maybe you'll get your stuff soon...
...y'all are absolutely amazing...
I have yet to get a single package up here in Iowa...hoping to see stuff start to arrive soon.
They have mail delivery in Iowa?
@barnabee. I went out and got some aloe vera for that burn. Hurts soo good.
One last update for this thread, any future updates will be listed within the specific product thread needing updating: By the end of the day today, we will be at 100% items shipped, excluding today's scales of course (which means all T-shirts are out the door!).
Moving forward, our goal will be to remain on schedule to have all products out the door next day, with the obvious exception of weekend items (Friday-Sunday) which we should always be able to get out the door by end of day the following Tuesday.
What this also means for you is that any address changes or order cancels will need to be done fairly quickly. We will be putting the final order numbers and details from the prior days sale into the system each morning to be shipped out. And, as you know, buyer's remorse isn't exactly part of our return policy so if we ship it before the remorse sets in...well, I hear there a few sites out there tailor made for folks that want to sell stuff they don't want anymore.
