Schadenfreude (well, maybe just a little bit...)

Although they definitely screwed up Woot, I can't bring myself to dislike Amazon or wish them ill. They're a great company that bought another great company and through bad decisions and clashing cultures fucked it up. They blew it big time, but they're not the devil. Hell, they might even turn it around somehow, as unlikely as that may be. The World of Wootcrap event was easily the closest thing to beloved classic Woot in years.
Most definitely the most fun i ever had at woot in the last few years, possibly ever
Bought an open box Moto G from AMZN, found old customer data on phone, emailed them & boom, 20% refund (or option for new one overnighted)
Except for their book feud wherein they demand excessive cuts of profits or blackball the publisher's books...
@brandon there are villains on both sides of that mess. The authors are the ones getting screwed, though.
@thumperchick for sure
Thank you! We all worked very hard on it.
WHY ARE ALL MY REPLIES MAKING NEW THREADS TODAY that was for @Starblind about the wootcrap event
@slydon you did a great job... was a lot of fun.
Hmm...that's weird. We'll take a look at it.
@slydon are you on mobile? Which browser are you using? And just to get it out of the way…you're clicking Reply under the comment, right?
@slydon - you were a fantastic CrapSMaster!
@JonT, I thought I was. Maybe @dave did something to my account because I was badmouthing Mad Ape Den earlier...
SERIOUSLY COME ON
I think they're messing with you. :)
A far more fitting punishment for badmouthing Mad Ape Den would be a 3-letter only word filter on all posts.
You may pay for the mad ape bad lip you did don. An eye for an eye it is not; no, it is a web bug for you! Moo ah ah ah.
I can not say as fit a bit as you did but now, yet I aim to try!
I ordered a "used-like new" MSI Computer Corp. MSI GT70 2OC-059US for 700 dollars. Warehouse made a mistake and sent me a new Toshiba Qosmio X75-A7298. They had it in a box that said MSI GT70 and I called and told them all about it. The CSR was like I am sorry you didn't get your laptop that you ordered. Our records do not show a Toshiba Qosmio, so if you would like to keep it we will credit you fifty dollars for your troubles. Thousand bucks difference, or more, when this happened. Now if I can just find a good Chromebook for a good price I'd be peachy.
