Lots of rain squalls this summer (unusual here in summer, and most welcome)

As a kid we were at the south rim of the grand canyon at sunset. Thunderstorm over part of it, sunset on the other side, double rainbow. It was one of the more impressive things I had seen.

A good friend’s wedding was today. It was supposed to be outside but just as it was about to start a storm blew through and they had to do the ceremony I. The reception hall.

As soon as the ceremony was over the rain was done and they had a double rainbow for their photos. This was one I took from the side.

No rainbows sighted as yet today (still hoping…), but a lot of N Central Texas looks like this right now.
