@jst1ofknd Not to judge (so I will), I feel many of us prefer to quarantine ourselves on our birthdays whetherly mandated by government or not so your question isn’t very specific.
My opinion so don’t lose your minds over it, but birthdays are overrated. The car parade, honking banner symposium is a little desperate and overdone. I know you’re bored, but no one else cares.

Personally, I DO CARE! I like having something to do with spreading the love, making people feel good/happy, not only on their birthday but anytime! So maybe you shouldn’t try to speak for everyone, “I” statements are much less offensive! Jus sayen…
My oldest turned 35 in April. She lives in another state, so Birthday gifts and wishes were delivered remotely. My youngest turns 22 on Wednesday. She is at college, a ~2 hour drive away, so she came home for the weekend to celebrate both Mother’s Day and her Birthday.
My daughter had her sweet sixteen yesterday. We had a shameful amount of sweets. Brownies, homemade cookie dough ice cream (yes with homemade cookie dough chunks), homemade caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and M&Ms. No sprinkles, she says, because that would be too much.
@jst1ofknd Thank You. I didn’t mean to sound like I was complaining! At least it was better than last year where I was stuck on the road for work…I’m from ND & was in FL…A Long Way From Home! No family or friends. That was much worse in comparison!
Breaking news! Quarantine birthdays don’t count! Mine was April 30, and I’m still the same age I was before! So sayeth the nurse today. I believe her, because she says it worked for her.

I turned 52 on March 18 with no pomp, circumstance or anything. I cooked my own supper, watched a movie & went to bed. Woo Hoo!!
