@ExtraMedium More than one-Saw another person got a dead one in their IRK also-maybe more who never reported it. Still thought it was worth mentioning since it is a pretty pricey item to get DOA.
For what it’s worth, I bought one for an off grid house and it has been phenomenal for daily use for the last 5ish months. Works superbly as a UPS, have not yet bought the attachment to connect a panel straight to it, but I’ve been extremely happy with it. Plugged in it draws 75 watts, and 4-6 hours of plug in time will power a fan, a router, and a modem all night and then some. We’ll see how it lasts after a year or two, but I was very pleased at $250 so for $200 even better.
I was lucky enough to receive this in one of my IRK’s! I’m using it now while on my camping trip and it’s working perfectly for my entire family and myself! Thanks Meh!!!
@caffeineguy Last time these were less was last October from a different batch of inventory. Otherwise these have been within $1 of the same price and we’re down to our final units

Got one that was dead in an IRK-enough of a reason to stay away from it.
@Felton10 I mean, if we sell 100 and only 1 is returned as bad (and thus ends up in an IRK) that’s pretty standard for the return rate.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Felton10 I’d be interested in buying the ‘dead ones’ from folks; we’ll harvest the battery pack and make one helluva power wheels battery!

Are those Li-ion or LiFePO4 or Li-Po?
Thanks,
-Sam
@samgau From past discussions, LG 18650 cells were mentioned. Probably of the nickel-maganese-cobalt (NMC) variety.
They’re not LiFePO4, that’s for certain.
@narfcake Thank you for the info.
