@heartny I’ve bought multiple putting mats. 30 bucks normally gets you all thin plastic construction so cheap that if you accidentally put any weight on the area around the hole, you break the whole thing. In fact, there’s several mats meeting that description the $50 range, like the unfortunate SKLZ Accelerator Pro mat I broke. This is actually a really good deal if you’re in the market for a putting mat.
This will be a fun little birthday gift for my oldest, who went to PSU. He’ll get a kick out of it since he spent about 6 years working at a country club’s golf course in HS and college. He’s still allowed to play there for free whenever he wants. Nice perk!
I may pick up another tomorrow for my second kiddo who is currently working at the same club, and uses the driving range regularly. But his university isn’t offered, so I’m not sure he’d want some random school, lol!
