Need explanation for meh math.
1So I logged into meh and saw this today:

I'm confused. The headphones are selling for $6 each. Exactly $1000 have been sold. The total is $7042. How did this happen? Shipping charges? Something else?
Sincere apologies if this has been addressed in an earlier thread.

Shipping charges plus we collect taxes in both Texas and California. That all adds up to extra monies, but the math behind it all is too complex for my tiny little mind.
@MEHcus Right, this is the raw total revenue number straight out of our database rounded to the nearest dollar.
revenue = (item price * quantity) + shipping - coupon code discount + sales tax collected - customer support refunds@shawn
Coupon code discount? By us onto you, or by you onto the supplier?
@shawn WHERE ARE THESE MYSTERIOUS MEH COUPON CODE DISCOUNTS MUST HAVE ONE MY PRECIOUS.
Seriously, @MEHcus and @shawn rock. Thanks. I figured it was something like that, but I didn't expect such a quick answer, or such a deep one.
@wishlish - Betcha coupon code discount is VMP.
@KDemo I would think that the routine that pulls shipping would adjust for VMP.
