Also, it is possible for something more mediocre. 2013 Dodge Avenger for a "full size" car rental (in 2015). We opted for the "full size" Jetta instead.
@JerseyFrank how much more mediocre? Try my ghetto van - 1990 grand caravan... although it went to the great junk yard in the sky in March when an engine bearing blew.
@Starblind Interesting side note - that ad was filmed at Black's Beach in San Diego, which was at the time a nude beach populated mostly by old dudes with really hairy balls. The north end is still clothing optional. The south end now managed by the city is clothing required. They have world class waves in the winter - we've filmed there many, many times.
@Pavlov I went to school in La Jolla in the mid 1980s. Made a couple of trips to Black's Beach. Once they were rescuing a couple of kids that got stuck on the cliff there under the hang glider takeoff. It was funny watching the reporters trying to film neck up interviews with nothing showing in the background.
The gf had a work truck stop dead in front of her about a month ago. Original estimate from the adjustor was $2200. Shop took it apart and it skyrocketed to $6000+. They totaled it, which made both of us very happy. Sure fire way to jack up the total? Take it to a really high end shop. This place works on Ferrari's, Lambos, Aston Martins, etc. Awesome shop, very cool people. http://www.cavalloautobody.com/home.php Clean trade in, it was worth about $7100 (though I'd say it was 'good' not 'clean' and worth less.) They gave her $8000 for it. I think a new Mazda 3 will be in the driveway by Saturday.
Thanks some kiss. Your hugs must be life-threatening.
It's only a flesh wound!
@JerseyFrank That'll buff right out.
@mamawoot My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.
Your image links don't work. Typing in the URLs directly show "Page Not Found" errors.
@cengland0 oh, browsers and security... I was suspicious that anyone could look at these. I've copied the images up to Imgur. Working now?
@JerseyFrank Yes, much better. Good job.
Do you really want a mediocre car?
@cengland0 It's a Chevy Malibu. How much more mediocre can you get?
@JerseyFrank

That's a helluva kiss... looks more like 3rd base to me...
@Thumperchick 3rd base? You should see the rear end of the other car. Total penetration. I got glass all over my bonnet, if you know what I mean.
@JerseyFrank ohh myyyyyy
Two fer Tuesday Smart Cars??
I would genuinely, seriously, and unironically love to buy a Pontiac Stinger. Maybe there's a warehouse of them out there somewhere.
@Starblind it's cute!
@Starblind I. Need. This. Car.

@Starblind Ford had a beachy car too.

Here's a nice Dodge family sedan that I think Meh should sell. I want one.
@Teripie While I still think they should have used a different name (Chargers have TWO doors) that is one sweet ride.
@Teripie We've already got a badass 4 door muscle car in the driveway.

@Teripie holy crap! I would have to make at least $200k/year before I would even consider spending $65k for a car or any depreciating asset.
SMARTCARS
THEY'RE KIND OF OUT OF STYLE, NOT TOO BIG, AND LOTS OF PEOPLE HATE THEM
PERFECT FOR MEH, RIGHT???
PLEASE MEH OMG I WANT A SMARTCAR
@HELLOALICE Me too! I'll split a two-fer with you!
@HELLOALICE They cannot be "out of style" because that indicates they were ever "In Style". Regardless of style they are a bad idea...
@HELLOALICE Go test drive one at your local M-B dealership. That will cure your hankering.
I'd really like one of these:

You can pick the color.
You know, you could just cut off that crumpled-up front end and...

@parodymandotcom That is fantastic. Talk about recycling!
@parodymandotcom Look, its the inspiration for the 'smart car'...
You should see the 200 horse power version.
