@capguncowboy I’m taking my first year off from FF in a decade just to give my poor wife some Sunday respite… but maybe next year we can do a money league? That will help weed out the non-participants.

@smigit2002 bare minimum? I think that’s saying you’ll participate, then accepting the invitation. Don’t show up for draft and never adjust your roster. Recipe for success – or at least, the recipe to ruin the league for everyone else.

@capguncowboy I auto-draft because it’s like Christmas- you get stuff you didn’t know existed! And fun new teams to follow! But then I study up and make roster changes every week. Last year I picked up Matt Ryan off waivers I think week 1.

@capguncowboy Nah, I draft and change my roster, I just tend not to partake in banter, trades, etc. In my work league, I actually accidentally auto-drafted because I forgot about it, and ended up taking home the trophy, though that’s probably more a testament to my luck than anything else…

I’m proud of y’all for not choosing the NFL app, though.

@woodhouse ughh… NFL’s service is abysmal. How can it be so bad? It’s the fucking NFL – but it is absolutely awful.

@capguncowboy I dunno, but I got forced into it one year and it was awful.

@woodhouse Well, if a decision is made to split into 2 leagues, if there’s enough interest, I’m in. (Otherwise, good luck to all who have to start Brian Hoyer at QB bc that’s all who’s left )

@woodhouse If we did that, it’d be nice to be able to cut the last week out of the season to allow a cross-league championship of champions for the winners of the two leagues. Facing off with whomever they had on their roster when they won their respective league. But that seems complicated.

@sammydog01 You should just need to set up a few things (draft and some basic rules we can figure out) - I doubt we will require too much commissioner-ing in these leagues.

@sammydog01 It’s really easy. You can always message me if you have any issues/questions. (Especially if we are doing ESPN.) Or, if you are just stepping up because no one else is and you don’t actually want to do it, I’d be happy to manage the second league.

@sammydog01 haha! I’m confident that you wouldn’t, but I understand how the lack of familiarity could be a little stressful. It really isn’t a problem at all.

@woodhouse I can manage the other league. I’ve done some in the past. Mostly ESPN. I guess you can just let me know when you have a final list and all. It might be good to set some sort of sign-up deadline.
