@cranky1950 Good point, they’ve had evolutions including links to suppliers sites and microsites but now run a site for the deals. Makes a difference in how to view them.
The GMA Deals and Steals segment has been around since before Mediocre was born. You might need to flip the narrative here.

I love watching border collies at work. The “border collie stare” is so totally focused that I occasionally think one could reach out and touch it. A friend has a couple of them, and she regularly takes them for a “day vacation” at a nearby farm that raises mini-goats. The collies do their damnedest to herd the goats, while the goats reciprocate by proving they can’t be herded. The farmer charges her $20 for the afternoon, and everyone feels they’ve gotten a good deal.
@magic_cave When I used to work in Scotland for Outward Bound, one of my fellow instructors had a border collie that he took along on the backpacking portion of the trips. That dog went nuts trying to herd 12 participants and two instructors walking in a line along the trail. That dog likely ran a marathon each and every day since he was back and forth the entire day long trying to get us into a crowded, circle bunch instead of strung out in a line.
@magic_cave Glad to be entertaining : ) One of the issues is when that dog would get frustrated he’d start gently nipping ankles and butting you with his head to try to encourage you to do what he wanted you to do. He really was only happy when we were having a rest stop and were more or less bunched up or circled up.
@Kidsandliz I have mini-Aussies (they run about 35 pounds. Just small enough to scoop up if I really have to). Every time the hear the “thunk” of the cork coming out of the bourbon or scotch bottle, they come running out of no where to my husband’s side and herd him to his study by head butts & nose bumps because that’s where he keeps the humidor for his cigars. Then herd him towards the patio door. If he gets side tracked, they circle him and bark until they have him outside.
We can also get them to round up our waste-of-fur cats from outside & break up cat spats.
This reminds me of a topic from Meh’s early days: that site from Korea that copied Meh completely, down to using the same layout and such. I wonder whatever happened to them.
I reckon products have been featured on morning tv shows long before snapster entered the game.
This is the first time I’ve seen a website devoted them they usta usually go to amazon or a store site.

Oooohhh…gma = good morning america. I thought it stood for grandma deals…
You know, like somebody’s grandma was out there finding deals they liked and advertising them on morning TV to other grandmas.
@medz Who else watches tv at 9am
@medz I’m w/you on this one. Gma= Grandma and Gpa= Grandpa and when you have to combine them in a text Gpar(s)= Grandparent(s).

@denboy That’s a cool game, that breed can be such a pain in the ass.
@cranky1950 Didn’t realize that was a game. What’s the breed?
@denboy Border Collie, stalk the pack
@cranky1950 This looks sorta like the Border Collie version of counting coup.

@Kidsandliz That story literally made me laugh out loud.

They’re too damned smart for their own good.

You can vote in the poll without having a login, so I voted. For I dunno what tho.
You can’t click the clicky without a login tho. : (
@f00l so make a log in. Google translate is your friend on those pages
@Kidsandliz
I know, I think I ran it once on that site. But I kinda like not having a clue. : )
@f00l Those look like those DVT prevention devices which cycle through inflation & deflation.
