It keeps Wanting to turn Only Left when it’s off the train tracks! My dad was traffic manager at Southern R R in New Orleans La. Now Norfolk Southern RR. Sure glad this little toy train Wasn’t a real one!
Very cute vid
We have this train. We call it the suicide train cause it goes so fast, like way faster then the video shows. Is there a way to slow it down?
We also call it the suicide train for it’s tendency for fall over when it jumps the track (which is quite often).
@GenWithaG123@unksol That could work, but would require modifications that may be a large undertaking for the average consumer. (If it were me, I’d likely install a potentiometer somewhere near the battery compartment, perhaps with the shaft exiting a hole drilled in a convenient place.)
After having it sit wrapped for 2+ years, I finally unboxed my meh train this year. The claim that there is a delay when you switch it on is a lie, and boy does the smoke stink, but it sure was fun for the two days I was allowed to have it assembled before it was replaced with wrapped gifts!
@Kyeh@lichme Yep, on at least one occasion! I bought mine from them a few years back. Nothing super fancy, just a battery operated one that runs on snap-together plastic tracks…but it makes real smoke and train sounds!
@sammydog01 Thanks! He’s been a real handful lately, he was glad that we were staying home all the time at the start of the year but now he seems to think that since we’re here all day, we should be playing with him all day. I’ve seen puppies with less energy.
Thanks for the ride
Yay, Little Toy Train is back!!! I love this video.

What ever happened to Matt anyway
@unksol got rich “designing” shirts
Nascar train…all left turns

@GenWithaG123 Perhaps try some low batteries?
@GenWithaG123 @PooltoyWolf variable resistor

@PooltoyWolf pretty sure I caught you at Rheostat. Not that it matters. Rheostat/POT/variable resistor.
@GenWithaG123 if you can solder it can be done
@GenWithaG123 @unksol There actually is a distinction! Pots control voltage (more appropriate for our choo-choo) while rheostats control current.
I’ll give you a suicide train and raise you a crazy train.

@lichme I love the smell, it reminds me of a real working engine!
@lichme @PooltoyWolf Meh sold toy trains?!?
@Kyeh @lichme Yep, on at least one occasion! I bought mine from them a few years back. Nothing super fancy, just a battery operated one that runs on snap-together plastic tracks…but it makes real smoke and train sounds!
@lichme @PooltoyWolf Is it the one in the video?
@Kyeh @PooltoyWolf The one in the video is the one I bought on meh. They sold it three times
@lichme @PooltoyWolf How fun!
Hey @Moose you still around? You have the best dog.
@sammydog01 Thanks! He’s been a real handful lately, he was glad that we were staying home all the time at the start of the year but now he seems to think that since we’re here all day, we should be playing with him all day. I’ve seen puppies with less energy.
@Moose Aww, good boy!
