@lseeber@tngrannyd Oh, I wasn’t voting in favor of heels, just for the perfectly on the nose observation about them being a very popular form of style over substance. I wear wedge heels to special events, and flats the rest of the time. I’ve learned to switch up the modest heel on my flats from time to time as it helps avoid Achilles tendinitis.
These ear buds are amazing. And I want them. But I bought a Meh yesterday, and I certainly didn’t need that. So I super don’t need to buy two mehs in a row.
Oddly enough, one of the few situations where I valued fashion/style over functionality (bought a nice automatic, winding watch a couple years ago) is being “remedied” today with the delivery of a Garmin Vivoactive 3.
Other than that, my decisions pretty much always fall on the “functionality” side of the spectrum, from clothes to vehicles to computer peripherals. But I do try to get the most stylish version that retains all the functionality.
I’M ALL SUBSTANCE, NO STYLE!!! WHO NEEDS STYLE, ANYWAY?!? BUT I HAVE TO SAY, YOU DON’T NEED TO LOOK CLOSE TO TELL THAT I’M FULLY FUNCTIONAL!!! AS ARE THE CONTENTS OF MY STORE!!! ALL SUBSTANCE, NO STYLE!!! COMPLETELY FUNCTIONAL!!!
Gimme a cheesy 80’s/90’s action flick any day!

It is when you’re wearing a set of Rowkin Bit Stereo True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds
It has to be action movies. Why else would “Jupiter Rising” be released on DVD?
How I play Minecraft. Make it pretty then make it work.

Always!
Only if you’re a fanboy.
Otherwise, if I don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.
As long as you subvert our expectations, it is okay to ignore having a cohesive narrative.
I was just going to say just what I was saying to go.
@sjk3 Booo! That right there is why I don’t watch movies any more. I mean, part of the reason.
High heels. 'nuff said.
@lseeber
@lseeber @moondrake until you pass 60 and the knees and back go bad. Then it’s Birkenstock and Vionic.

@moondrake @tngrannyd Yah… I’m past 60. Only wear them on rare occasions these days.
@moondrake @tngrannyd Same here. Not in favor but it’s one of those things that’s def style over substance for just about anyone that wears them.
Style over Substance: That’s when 400-pound human gets a $400 haircut, right?
What if you have neither style nor substance?
@Targaryen You get a job at Mediocre Corp?

The sign of a true monarch is style without sacrificing substance.
