@studerc@neuromancer posted some kindle case koozie photos earlier in the revelation thread. The covers that can be opened like a book or turned into a stand (with some sort of rigid material in the middle) have me stumped.
I use exactly one of these Built NY Kindle sleeves (that I got in a BoC) to store my Bose SoundLink Mini for when I travel.
I squeeze the sides and it turns into the perfect size to slide in my speaker, and it has saved me when I dropped it at least once. I was kind of bummed that I had to store it in a bright pink case (what Woot sent), but now that I have a bunch of neat patterned cases from Meh, I'm waaaay happy!
Yeah, it's a good thing that I have a charitable outlet for a lot of these or everything would be encased in neoprene. I like having bags/boxes for things. That may be why not finding a use for the stiff sided cases is bothering me.
I've started on my cat tree. Work is taking up a lot of time these days. Here is my fit test for making the vertical portion of the tree. I haven't stapled anything down yet. I am going to make the cat perches next.
The 2x4 wrapped in cases is running horizontally between two tables in this photo. It will be vertical in use. The cats will be able to sit on some laptop cases.
Personally I've been looking into a template to turn them into can koozies.

I like purple.

@hamjudo Winner!
@hamjudo That's great. I can't wait to see the finished product.
@hamjudo I love it.
