Get a cheap/light fishing vest and put the cigarette pack size ice packs into the pockets.
You can usually get ones that look similar to the above at CVS in the summer aisle. They can last for a few hours, so just keep more in an ice bag/chest/refrigerator.
@tweezak That has occurred to me, but the fisherman’s jacket is khaki instead of black and looks cheesy instead of butch. I guess I could wear a fisherman’s hat with a couple of lures to finish the look.
Also, you can wear this at home to stave off using the AC. In that case you can rotate ice packs from the freezer.
I actually like a wet fan (basically a swamp fan) - putting a fan in front of a cold water bottle. Sharper Image had a shoulder/neck fan with a water tank in the back that sprayed mist into the jets.
I stay cool in hot weather by laying on the couch and watching it’s always sunny in Philadelphia
I use this on my phone. Works great and doesn’t seem to drain the battery.

@Star2236 a friend of mine always told me to slow down; the difference between the two of us getting to the location was that I’d show up sweaty.
