So check this out: they had a cheap Set of two polarized sunglasses for like $13 a few days ago that I decided to purchase. There was something screwy going on with their site and I could not complete my purchase - the item was in the cart, but the “complete purchase” button simply didn’t work. Even when I used the Browser console to invoke the button press, nothing happened.
I was using Chrome (as I always do), latest version, vanilla - no extensions. It just simply wasn’t working. Tried logging in from another PC also using Chrome. Item was in cart, but purchase button did nothing.
I ended up having to install the new Edge on my main PC to get it to work (I have Firefox also, but I have it locked down tight with ad and content blockers). I don’t use edge, but had to in this instance.
I reached out to their web support to explain what happened, just so they were aware. The response I got a couple of days later was “We recommend you use Chrome, and not Edge”. That was it.
Like… seriously? Lol. If I hadn’t tried Edge, the purchase would not have gone through and they would have missed a sale (albeit a small one). Those guys are assclowns.

@danlo The current version of Edge is Chrome under the hood. That’s a pretty solid indication that we’ve wound up in an alternate timeline.
