There is no clear evidence that electrolyte drinks help more than water for ending a hangover sooner.
Other things that can help with a hangover include:
Resting: Getting enough rest can help your body recover.
Drinking water: Drinking water can help restore fluids and carry nutrients and oxygen to tissues.
Eating bland foods or fruits: These can help raise blood sugar and relieve nausea.
Taking certain medications: Some medications can help ease symptoms, but acetaminophen can cause liver damage.
The best way to prevent a hangover is to avoid alcohol.
That said;
Don’t drink too much too quickly- consider drinking a glass of water in between drinking [the good] drinks.
Also, even if you pace yourself, drinking for hours at a time will [relatively depending on liver function and body habitus] slowly saturate your tissues with alcohol, so a hangover pretty much becomes inevitable.
The real cure- only time, rest, and hydration.
Avoid or take special care with using Acetaminophen [AKA Tylenol] due to risk for liver damage/toxicity.
Lol… I actually woke up this morning fresh as a daisy despite drinking far too much Grand Marnier, rum, and Blue Caracao. (Probably close to 750ml of Grand Marnier because the bottle started almost full). I almost never drink anything and certainly not usually to excess… But I kept drinking while working and had a lot of work to do…
I was doing prep work for big Xmas eve dinner/Xmas morning breakfast and drinking and dancing while prepping food all afternoon/evening… Was feeling quite silly by the end.
Was convinced I was going to wake up Xmas Eve morning with a terrible headache but despite an awful taste in my mouth I actually felt really refreshed. It was a Christmas miracle.
I did force myself to drink lots of water before bed, so maybe that helped… And when I woke in middle of night I drank a bunch more water.
The very Best hanger over cure, plus that you don’t go sing the praises with Ralph. Well, it is not to consume! After all YOU Can Only “ RENT” what you drink, as what you drink will come back out one way or another. Either Top, with a visit with the Porcelain God, Ralph. Or down below. Plus many times you forget what you did. You could end up with something you don’t need.
more of a prevention than a cure. Before going to sleep, take OTC pain relievers of your choice, drink a full glass of water and brush your teeth. In your state you might not remember that last one but it’s the most important

Hydrate before you go to sleep is the best way to limit the hangover. If needed the next day Brawndo* will help.
*Or other electrolyte drink.

I seem to recall some kind of palliative that involves pet fur, but I don’t recall the details.
@macromeh Hairy pussy like '70s porn?
@macromeh did that also include a 9 month surprise? That you Must take care of for the next 20 years?
@yakkoTDI @mycya4me Actually, I was alluding to “Hair of the dog that bit you” but it’s interesting where some minds went…
@macromeh Better yet don’t drink anything harder that H20 on the Rocks or some Fruit juice, Not even a Drink that has CO2 in it!
A hotel room to yourself.
And electrolyte drinks with animal crackers (or plain tea cookies).

That’s always my best hangover cure. Drink lots of water before bed and wake up in the night and drink a full glass of water.
