The internet / AI tell me this has a “standard 5/8th inch arbor” - looking at the images I find that hard to believe.
My experience with cheap Chinese grinders is that arbors and collets are sized all over the place. I might get one of these if I new I could replace the grinding wheel with an actual saw blade…

The bigger question is how much they’re eeking out of the 12V batteries here. While a lot of the cat-sat-on-a-keyboard brands use a Makita LXT terminal layout for their 18V/20V/21V tools, the 12V tools are NOT as “standardized”.

I’ve got a little Milwaukee brand cut off the same size as this and it could handle that.
@therealjrn Alexa seems not to know that Scrolls are permanently hermetically sealed lol. Got a buddy with a proper air powered cut off wheel but wondered if I could do it myself with this. (I want the scroll itself as a paperweight/desk toy.)

From what I can find online, the arbor is 10mm, which is very close to 3/8". This also appears to be the standard for 3" blades.
Product manual is linked on Sharper Image product page. It shows 10mm.
I’m confused, does Meh own Sharper Image yet?
By the way, speed on this is only 1,600 rpm. (Real cutoff tools typically spin like 20K for the 3" size.)
