Gratuitous Preemptive Product Review: Fanttik Slim Apex V8 Car Vacuum

As a vacuum for cleaning the cruft out of keyboards, PC heat sinks and fan intakes, desk drawers, and other small, very limited spaces, it’s decent. As a vacuum for cleaning out your car? If it’s a 1:10-or-smaller RC car, it’ll probably work, as long as no mud is involved. But its usefulness in a real car would pretty much stop at clearing the loose stuff out of the cup holders, cleaning up the debris from your ill-advised choice of a Violet Crumble as an on-the-go-snack, or picking up two small shoes’ worth of dried beach sand. For a real car cleanup, get a Shop-Vac (or equivalent), or at the very least, a fairly high capacity handheld like the bigger Ryobi cordless vacs. This doesn’t have much hopper capacity, and its widest nozzle also has such meager suction that its utility for anything is questionable.

Werehatrack recommendation: If you need it for the appropriate tasks described, and can get it for half of the typical 'zon price or less, it’s OK. Definitely NOT a “buy” otherwise.
