@sammydog01 At the speeds these boards reach, the wrist guards will offer the most protection. Wrists are the most injured area at these speeds. On a bike/faster, yes the helmet would be the first. Learned through experience…
A skate board has skates, a surf board surfs, a bulletin board holds bulletins. Does the hoverboard have anything to do with hover? It must be in the advisory board category.
Not "hoverboards”. Why did that term ever become a thing. For starters, it has wheels! And second most obvious is that you don’t even stand on it like a traditional “board” nor the preconceived notion of what hoverboards look like!
Until people stop calling what it’s not, I shall always give it the one finger meh salute.

Bought 2 for summer. Kids have already used their friend’s boards so they have experience.
They are fun once you’ve got the hang of it. Also, spinning in an out of control spiral until they fall off is a great watch.
That said, tomorrow helmets, pads and industrial bubble wrap for sale please.

I had one of these things back when they were $200+ and you had to get them from overseas (and could get stuff in the mail with high energy batteries that didn’t have giant YOU GONNA DIE labels). I ended up reselling mine because it was not $200 worth of fun when my neighborhood lacked many surfaces smooth enough to ride it. At $80 I highly recommend them as great fun; just riding them around the house or an office was a blast.
hard to say no to this. Bought one at 3X the price a few years ago and already replaced the MB. Battery needs replacement now… Cheaper to spend the $80 on a new one… Lot’s of fun for “kids” of all ages.
Got one of these at $99 last October for the kids’ Christmas. This one has been EXCELLENT, they love it & have ridden many to compare it to. I highly recommend.

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Malfunctioning right out of the box. The charge light is flashing orange 5X, which means that a wheel motor is defective. Emailed Meh and awaiting a response. Anyone else particularly “meh” about this deal??
@andrewkl Mine was also defective out of the box. Worked once or twice, but the indicator light on the right wheel (battery light) does not even turn on. Beeps a bunch when you try to turn it on. Sent an email, have not heard back yet.

At a minimum, wear wrist guards. Then next in order of importance: helmet, knee pads, elbow pads.

When I was a kid, Hoverboards hovered. Next they’re going to tell me that GoTrax don’t make tracks.
