Just a little concerned; mine has lost weight. It’s now 2.0 lbs. Since I also scored a BoC today, that’s showing on my list, at 1.1 lbs. Yes, I know the weights are fig newtons, but I will watch both with interest.

@seraphimcaduto speaking of hazmat suits, someone brought us back some jars of Cambodian fish sauce from Cambodia. They mailed them to us in a priority mail box with NO PADDING!!!. And of course one broke. The post office left us a package note. They had it in one of those huge carts on their back porch, all by its lonely self. When I showed up to pick it up they wanted to know if it was dangerous and if the person who handled the box was going to get sick. Umm no other than it stinks to high heaven. I think this stuff is nasty but my daughter loves it and you can’t even get that brand in an asian grocery store.
Hahahaha, as a clear apology to me for all the forum abuse and shipping my blender bottles so late that they’re not useful to me anymore until fall, they sent out my free fuko on Thursday. By my calculations, it should be here by Wednesday.

Oh good, mine is just leaving Holt, FL. From there it will go to Orlando, where it will check in and check out, about 12 hours apart (to use its day pass to Disney). Then it will check in to the FedEx office in Orlando, spend another 12 hours (day pass to Universal), then head back to north FL, where USPS will keep it for a day or two, treat its sunburn, then get here on Friday.

My package woke up early this morning to take a 2 hour trip from “fedex smartpost”, which I thought was my local post office, to my actual local post office. It got there at 6am so I am no longer confident it will make it onto a truck today. Which is a shame, I was really hoping for a nice surprise while working from home today.

@smartr Screw bunk mates, mine is almost a twin. 17x17x17 and 17.7 pounds. Odd thing is, it went to a fecex facility super close to me (where they have sent directly to my house from before) then decided they needed to fit the scheduled delivery date and sent it to a town about 3 towns over.

My 2 lbs. showed up in Lenexa, KS (2 miles from work) yesterday somehow. No holidays for the Fuko?? Still says it won’t ship to my house until Friday. Still an improvement from the ETA of Saturday previously given. Why take 4 days to move 20 miles though?

This weekend we had the most beautiful, hot, sunny day Saturday but suddenly the sky turned dark and the clouds opened for about 10 minutes dropping a shit load of rain then stopped just as quickly and the sun came back out!
Bees have been swarming and my fuko shows that Fed-Ex has delivered to Grove City, OH with the next stop being Grove City, PA the USPS hub.
Coincidence? I think not!
My fuko and two Banana Boat speakers left Texas on 5/26 and arrived in Maryland on 5/29. The speakers have both made it to West Virginia but the fuko hasn’t moved. Hmm…
All three boxes are back together again and heading to the post office.

It is not the placeholder weight either. It was at 2.0 pounds for several days and I kept refreshing several times a day every day and it just changed a couple minutes ago to 2.2 pounds.

Arrived at smartpost! Updated to 4.2lbs. I’m hoping texas air is slightly lighter than New Jersey air and is throwing off the scales.
I knew this would happen. Mine took four days to tour Florida (Disney, Universal, beaches) before it checked in to the FedEx office in Orlando. It stayed just long enough to shower and nap, then went out clubbing and didn’t show up until 0947 today at the SmartPost office. It is undoubtedly sunburned and hungover, so it ought to be a fun passenger on the trip up to Jacksonville. Barf bag, anyone?

My package woke up early this morning to take a 2 hour trip from “fedex smartpost”, which I thought was my local post office, to my actual local post office. It got there at 6am so I am no longer confident it will make it onto a truck today. Which is a shame, I was really hoping for a nice surprise while working from home today.

Haven’t checked mine in a couple days and of course it is out for delivery to my workplace on my day off today. Looks like my package dropped some weight in transit from 2lbs place holder to a 13x10x6 1.5lb unlike the masses it seems who have gained weight. Maybe not rocks but some pebbles. Considering its my first fuko, should I be worried?

@KDemo sounds like our packages are still bunk mates. Mine is 11 x 11 x 11 and 4.5 lbs. Hoping they get it here Friday. As I have clearly angered the deliveryman gods, I am still not ruling out that FedEx will hand it to USPS who will conveniently lose it in Seattle mail jail.
@smartr Screw bunk mates, mine is almost a twin. 17x17x17 and 17.7 pounds. Odd thing is, it went to a fecex facility super close to me (where they have sent directly to my house from before) then decided they needed to fit the scheduled delivery date and sent it to a town about 3 towns over.
I suspect it will actually be delivered today at the business address, but the tracking makes it look like it’s actually in mail jail.
