Forum Growing Pains, or Maybe We're Just Getting Old.
9Just a quick note - we've had a few crashes of the forum today, and are still working out exactly what happened and how to fix it. As part of figuring it out, we've taken the official Fuku topic down, temporarily.
Nicely, the rest of the site seems to be going smoothly, so if the forum goes down and you're bored, you can always place an order, I guess. Anyway, not much to report, other than "Yep, we've seen the forum crash and we're on it."

This was my favorite gaming system growing up. The controllers were fantastic. A joystick paddle and 14 buttons.

The first time I clicked on this topic I got the 'Terribly Wrong' video, which I thought was fitting. Sometimes, when I click back to the forum, I just get a blank white page, other times, I get the video. Usually, (except for earlier today, of course) a refresh or two gets everything to load.
I just opened four tabs for four different topics and all four started playing the song out of synch. Now, I have a headache. Dammit, Meh!

A game came with a controller cover. The cover showed you what every button did. Baseball showed the baseball diamond.

I remember posting my box on the official thread and then came back 20 minutes later to find the forums had crashed. It's probably a coincidence but my bad if it was me!
I kept trying it and getting "the mehest video ever".... Must have listened to 'terribly wrong' at least five times!
The guilt is killing me. I have to confess. I caused one of last night's forum crashes. And it appears I took a perfectly innocent thread down with me. It was about tricking friends into watching the "terribly wrong" song. And I had to be glib and compare it to Rick Rolling. 85 million views CAN be wrong.
Clearly, Meh has a no Rick Astley policy, which is completely justified. In the future, I'll Vanilla Ice people instead. Aurally, I know it is crueller, but at least I won't be doing something that the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has done.
I'll show myself to the door.
@bluedyn: I posted on the thread just before it crashed, so there's probably enough guilt to spread around. (But if it turns out I crashed it, do I get a prize? Please, please! I haven't actually crashed a server in years. At least accidentally.)
Personally, I think the server just got fed up with us all and quit. { Mental image of a server sitting in the corner, arms crossed, scowling, muttering: "Buncha lame pics of crap. And they're happy with them! Just too much stupid to take. Not gonna do it any more. Just not gonna." }
@rockblossom It when down when I hit the "say it" button, but you're probably right. I was the last match, but we're all arsonists.

Crashed it using Facebook as image host. Worth it since I only share it with one friend at random that hasnt a clue why I'm posting to them.
