I voted “nothing”, but I forgot we’re actually going to the Oddities and Curiosities Expo in Denver on Sunday. I haven’t been able to attend the last couple of years, so it’ll be nice to go again.
@chienfou It is! It’s a huge event with so many vendors- everything from art to taxidermy to bizarre handmade items, etc. I always spend way too much and come home with loads of weirdness.
@Pony I wonder why they don’t keep you… I suggest don’t go to a Zoo. I know I try not to go. When I do I have a Camera pretend I am a "normal person with a Camera. Most of the time it works. One time my mask slipped & they almost caught me.
As mentioned elsewhere we are on a leaf-peeping journey through upper Vermont. Rainy day yesterday so we hung out at the condo doing laundry, planning a trip to Chicago in November with our grandson, and I gave blood at the local blood drive. It was a nice relaxing day.
Today we will do a little hiking, visit some more covered bridges, and try to eat up the leftovers before we pack and change location to east of Montreal (till next weekend).
A little bit of all things. Maybe Farmers market, home repair, cleaning out a car, organizing the garage a wee bit. Trying really hard not to piss off my wife anymore than I did yesterday. Yep, a little bit of everything.
Relaxing. I babysat my 4 year old nephew last night. While we had loads of fun and did lots of arts and crafts I’m tired and sore. I get my RFA (where they cauterize the nerves in my neck) on Tuesday so I was already having trouble to begin with before babysitting. Hoping to be able to set up Halloween decorations next weekend.
The local weather guessers are predicting sunny and at (or near) record high temperatures for the date this weekend (low to mid 80’s). So, enjoying it while we can.
Farmers market and then pretending i am one of the vegetables
Crying.
The cold Russian winter approaches, and the turnip harvest was meager.
Watching Football
and Baseball
all weekend!!
Decorating the yard for Halloween.
How is that not an option if costume is??
2 of the above choices:
Doing what I do every weekend, working and getting nothing done.

@Pony I guess you will be one the oddities and curiosities?
@mycya4me The oddest and most curiousest.
@Pony
That sounds pretty cool!

If you go, show us what you come home with. It sounds very interesting.

@chienfou @Star2236 We didn’t buy a ton of stuff this time, but here’s the haul- some art prints and a few stone skulls +a raven for my collection.

@chienfou @Pony @Star2236 Lots of very cool stuff - the paintings are great. I especially like the brushy bat & birds, and the deer one is beautiful.
@chienfou @Kyeh @Star2236 That little bat print will go in our batroom. (yep, we actually have a bat-themed bathroom)
@chienfou @Pony @Star2236 BATroom. Hah, love it!
@chienfou @Kyeh @Pony
The deer painting is cool, I like the raven too.
Walks
Cleaning up & prepping for fall/ winter.
Spending the weekend. In the hospital. At least I can say that.
@hchavers oh hugs
Parents weekend at my daughter’s college! Woohoo!
My wife is bringing a ridiculous amount of stuff

Giving my car a tune up before winter.

@rustyh3
Wise choices. After 49 yrs, I have found that a little “time apart” while doing tasks around the house can help calm the waters.
Only took me 42 years to figure that out. Given the fact that I have been really good at irritating her I had to learn quickly.
In buffalo for the bills game! Did a stadium tour yesterday, merch shopping today! Go Bills

Setting up the library tent at the Fall Harvest & Great Pumpkin Patch Event. In the rain.
Oh and I got a shovel at the church fair on Saturday!
@aetris
?? Details are needed!!
@chienfou - a used but decent A.M. Leonard all-steel full-strap D-grip spade with a slightly bent shaft for fifteen bucks.
@aetris
Ok, that (kinda) makes sense!
Made it to our Canadian rental…

@chienfou
Looks leafy and perfect.
@f00l
It’s been quite amazing!
